Forgetful mama

Well I had a blog and forgot my password. I used everything I could think of and couldn't get back into my account. I even asked that my password be emailed to me. Alas, I had changed my email address and forgot about that. Guess it's the age!

Or maybe it's being a grandmother to four very active little ones! My life revolves around my hubby, my three daughters, two son-in-laws and four grandchildren. I have a mother, 2 brothers and sisters but the most important people in my life are the first ones mentioned.

Ray and I are enjoying this grandparenting bit but I will admit he's a bit more of a disaplinarian than I am. These kids have me wrapped around their little fingers. They give hugs and kisses and mama will let them do about anything they want to. Ok girls, I finally admitted it! Boy, have I changed since my kids were little!!! I was pretty strict with my own. Maybe that's why they're such loving daughters and mothers. I'll let them disapline their kids and I'll just love them and spoil them.

I know that sometimes I'm too busy with the little ones or totally wore out from watching them all day and Ray feels left out but that doesn't mean that I love him any less. He's still the one constant in my life that I couldn't live without. It just means that he can take care of himself better than two year olds can. If Izzy and Noah were left to take care of themselves------well it wouldn't be pretty.

When I first got married and thought about having kids, I wanted all girls. I just couldn't imagine raising boys and loving them as much as little girls. Boy was I wrong. I love these little guys so much that I can't imagine life without them. They're fun, loving, sweet, adorable, mean, rotten little guys and I wouldn't want them any different.

Maddie was our first grandchild and she's such an angel. She's always been such an adorable child, sweet and loving and absolutely perfect (at least in our eyes). And she's a good student in school. She looks so much like her mom did as a child but her personality is totally different. Noah has his mom's personality!!! Paybacks are hell, Micki! LOL

Izzy is the only blond among our dark hair and he looks like the odd man out. He really doesn't look like us but he sure looks like his daddy. Sophia looks more like mommy and if she ever gets hair, we think it'll be dark like mommies.

All four of these kids are wonderful, beautiful and adorable. They keep us busy and we like to think they keep us young. I keep Maddie and Noah while their parents work and I also keep Izzy and Sophia when their parents ask if of us but Cindy is a SAHM and won't leave the kids often.

That takes care of all but one of our daughters. Crystal is the youngest and is working out of state and seems happy. We miss her but we're happy for her that she's working at a job she loves and with friends she can enjoy working with and visiting after hours. As long as she's happy and healthy and we can see her fairly often, then we're happy too. That's all we ever wanted for our kids and I think they've all achieved that goal.
